Saurabh Kumar is a Student Researcher at Applied Perception and an MSc Artificial Intelligence student on the Robotics pathway at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI). He holds a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), India.

His research interests are affective robotics, embodied AI, human-robot interaction, quantum robotics and space autonomy. He is building FollowCam, a wheeled autonomous camera robot built on ROS2 that follows a person using computer vision and avoids obstacles with LiDAR and ultrasonic sensors. He also built AgentOps, a multi-agent AI platform with a LangGraph pipeline, retrieval-augmented generation and human-in-the-loop approval.

Before moving into research he spent four years in software engineering, including as Technical Head at Pashi Technology, and founded Vocaa, a real-time language practice app released on Google Play in 177 countries.
